Showtime Speedway (formerly Sunshine Speedway) re-opened in July of 2012 after an 8-year hiatus. Originally opened in 1960, Sunshine Speedway provided wheel-to-wheel action and family fun for over 4 decades almost every Saturday night. In 2004, the State of Florida purchased the property for a future road project leading to the closure of the speedway.
The TRACK is BACK! Showtime races on Saturday nights and features all of your favorite classes: Super Late Models, Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsmen, Pro Trucks, Pro Figure 8s, Street Stocks, Street Stock Figure 8s, Mini Stocks, Mini Stock Figure 8s, Kids Fast 4, Legends, Bandoleros and Champ Karts. We even invite you, our fans, to bring your cars onto the track for fan participation “oval drags” – a crowd favorite!
